FIELD: data processing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lossless encoding and decoding with reducing redundancy of transmitted information and can be used for compression and reconstruction of telemetric data frames in information and measurement systems. Method comprises displaying initial frames, presented in bit form on surface of toroid with subsequent search of rectangular areas on it and fixation of such number of two pairs of coordinates, which will enable to describe all compressible regions, the size of which is greater than the number of bits assigned for storage of coordinates, and fixing the position of the left upper and lower right angles of each of the selected regions according to the invention, bit data frame representation is mapped to a rectangle, the surface of which is then broken down into a plurality of completely covering it rectangular areas of arbitrary size, which can consist of bits of only one type, with subsequent fixation for each area of depth recursive breakdown of rectangle surface, carried out to obtain area, which enables to compress areas, which contain the number of bits, is greater than the number of bits allocated for storage of the code describing the depth of the recursive breakdown, carried out to obtain each fixed area, as well as a bit of their type.

EFFECT: higher rate of compression.
