FIELD: cellulose production.
SUBSTANCE: method of producing fibres from industrial hemp involves cooking for 12 hours with mixing a mixture of a powder fraction with size of up to 250 mcm, which has undergone at least two-month maceration with a degree of polymerisation from 400 to 700 in a solution of N-methylmorpholine-N-oxide with melting point 120 °C and with water content of not more than 10% from volume when adding antioxidant in form of propyl gallate in concentration of 0.5% to obtain a homogeneous solution. Solution is then passed through a capillary viscometer with a spinneret at the outlet, and after exiting the spinneret, the newly formed fibre is passed through an air gap with height of 5-15 cm at temperature of 20±2 °C and humidity 50±5%. Further, the fibre is passed through a settling bath in which water of room temperature is used as a settling agent, and the fibre is supplied to a winding shaft.
EFFECT: disclosed is a method of producing fibres from industrial hemp.
