FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: present invention refers to medicine, namely to obstetrics and gynaecology. It can be used for prediction of risk of premature delivery (PD) in II-III trimesters in pregnant women with male sex of gestating foetus. Prediction method involves ultrasound scanning and biological fluid analysis. In II-III trimesters of pregnancy, foetus sex is determined. If male sex is detected, uterine contractile activity is measured by mechanohysterography. Besides, 6-sulphatoxymelatonin is measured in morning urine by ELISA. If observing the bilateral uterine contractility and 6-sulphatoxymethalonine level of less than 87.5 ng/ml, the level of personal anxiety is additionally determined using the Spielberger-Hanin test. If the level of personal anxiety is more than 46 points, then premature delivery is predicted in pregnant women with a male foetus.
EFFECT: method is safe for the health of the pregnant woman and the foetus, enables to select the correct pregnancy management approach in case of high risk.
