FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for control of cavity, which appeared as a result of soil subsidence under monolithic segment-spherical foundation (4). Cavities formed in each segment (1) are filled with compressed air, while controlling the volume of supplied compressed air using flow meter (6). Determining the increase in the volume of soil subsidence in each segment (1) by comparing the obtained control results with the previous results of controlling the filling of each cavity with compressed air. If the calculated volume of soil subsidence exceeds the critical value, a conclusion is made on unacceptable soil subsidence. Free volume appearing as a result of soil subsidence is eliminated by means of the cavity filling system.
EFFECT: higher reliability and safety of tank farm operation.
