FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction, in particular to control of spatial position of segment-spherical foundation and can be used by enterprises operating large-size reservoirs. Method of controlling spatial position of a segmented-spherical base includes a volume control system which appears as a result of subsidence in each segment-spherical cavity, and sand filling system of part of segment-spherical cavity released as a result of subsidence of soil, to restore area of contact of foundation with soil, since the sensors send the signal when the free volume in the segment-spherical cavity appears, which exceeds the permissible volume of soil deposition, after which the subsidence of the foundation structure may occur.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability and safety of operation of tank farms.
