FIELD: woodworking industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to woodworking industry and can be used for drying of various types of wood for furniture production. In the method of drying wood for the production of furniture and related products, including the treatment of wood samples with ozone, according to the invention, lumber is used as a wood sample, which is treated with an ozone-air mixture with ozone concentration of 35 mg/m3 for 30 minutes every 3 hours for 9 days at temperature of 60 to 70 °C.

EFFECT: invention provides higher quality of drying and obtaining environmentally friendly material for making furniture.
