FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to production of iron-ore pellets, which are used in operation of a blast furnace and in which the weight ratio of CaO/SiO2 is greater than or equal to 0.8 and the weight ratio of MgO/SiO2 is greater than or equal to 0.4. Dolomite is pretreated, raw pellets are pelletized with addition of water to iron-ore material and said dolomite for use in pelletizing and annealing of green pellets. Dolomite is present in the green pellet structure in a miniaturized state due to the fact that during processing dolomite is ground into powder so that the Blaine specific surface area is greater than or equal to 4000 cm2/g, or during treatment dolomite is subjected to calcination at temperature greater than or equal to 900 °C. Treatment temperature during firing is greater than or equal to 1250 °C.

EFFECT: obtaining iron-ore pellets with excellent recoverability and high crushing resistance.
