SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for the manufacture of a haemostatic medical device, which consists in the fact that a substrate from a nonwoven material is bonded by means of an adhesive with a powdered mixture of chitosan and an acrylic acid polymer, characterized by that on a substrate from a nonwoven material with thickness of 0.5 to 2.0 mm in the form of a web of cellulose fibres and a two-component staple fibre from polyethylene terephthalate and polyethylene, a layer of adhesive BF-6 of uniform thickness is applied, on which a layer of uniform thickness of a powdered mixture of chitosan and a lightly crosslinked polymer of acrylic acid is applied, where the web consists of 65% of cellulose fibres and 35% of a two-component staple fibre from polyethylene terephthalate and polyethylene, and the chitosan used is chitosan with a molecular weight from 60 kDa to 600 kDa and a degree of deacetylation from 70% to 99%, and wherein the particles of the powder of the mixture of chitosan and the lightly crosslinked polymer of acrylic acid are at least partially immersed in the adhesive layer to form a solid three-dimensional surface of the particles of the powder mixture on the surface of the adhesive layer “БФ-6”, after which the obtained three-layer structure of the product is dried for at least 30 minutes in a drying cabinet at temperature of 25 °C.

EFFECT: present invention provides the possibility of increasing the haemostatic activity of the end product by creating a three-dimensional structure of an absorbent surface with a controlled internal structure from a mixture of powders of chitosan and a lightly crosslinked polymer of acrylic acid in the process of its manufacture with simultaneous intensification of the bactericidal effect with the possibility of increasing the compression effect on the bleeding source when placing the product on the wound.
