FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to catalysts for polymerisation of olefins. Disclosed is an olefin polymerisation catalyst comprising a base catalyst and a cocatalyst, wherein the base catalyst comprises a bisphenol metal complex of formula Ia, in which R1 and R1’, each is independently selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom and a substituted or unsubstituted C1-C6 alkyl; R3-R7, R3’-R7’, each is independently selected from a group consisting of a hydrogen atom and a substituted or unsubstituted C1-C6-alkyl, and any two adjacent groups R3-R7 are optionally connected to form a ring, and any two adjacent groups R3'-R 7 ' are optionally connected to form a ring; R8 and R9 represent a hydrogen atom; each R is independently selected from a group consisting of a hydrogen atom and a substituted or unsubstituted C1-C6-alkyl; M and M' are each independently Ti, Zr or Hf; each X is independently selected from the group consisting of methyl, fluoride, chloride, bromide and iodide, and combinations thereof; m and n independently represent integer from 1 to 4; use of the disclosed catalyst for polymerisation of olefins, methods of polymerisation and copolymerisation using the disclosed catalyst.
EFFECT: obtaining a catalyst for polymerisation of olefins with high catalytic activity and high ability to introduce comonomers.
