FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an amino-imine metal complex of formula I. In formula I: R1 and R2 are each independently selected from the group consisting of a C1-C20 alkyl group with or without a substituent Q and a C6-C20 aryl group with or without a substituent Q; each R3 is independently selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom and a C1-C20 hydrocarbon group with or without a substituent Q; residues R5-R8 are each independently selected from a group consisting of a hydrogen atom, a halogen, a hydroxy group, a C1-C20 hydrocarbon group with or without a substituent Q, and groups R5-R8 are optionally combined to form a ring or ring system; each R12 independently represents a C1-C20 hydrocarbon group with or without a substituent Q; each Y independently represents an atom of a non-metallic element of Group VIA; each M is independently a Group VIII metal; each X is independently halogen, where the substituent Q is selected from a group comprising halogen, hydroxy, C1-C10-alkyl, halogenated C1-C10-alkyl, C1-C10-alkoxy group and halogenated C1-C10-alkoxy group. Also disclosed is a method of producing said complex, use thereof in polymerisation of olefins, a catalyst for polymerisation of olefins and a method for polymerisation of olefins.

EFFECT: disclosed complex can catalyse polymerisation of ethylene at relatively high temperature to obtain branched polyethylene having high molecular weight.
