FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to devices and method of capturing CO2 from air. One of the devices for capturing CO2 from air contains a cylinder containing a membrane in the form of an annular wall centred around a central axis. At that, it contains at least one sorption chamber, at least one reducing chamber, means for cylinder rotation around the central axis for membrane transportation from sorption chamber to reducing chamber and back, an air intake inlet and a CO2 depleted air outlet, means for allowing the stripping gas to flow through the membrane into the reducing chamber; at least one CO2 outlet located in the reduction chamber, and a heating device for heating the reduction chamber. Membrane is a partially air-permeable membrane consisting of a macroporous layer, where the pores of the macroporous layer are coated with a solid-state sorbent CO2. Sorption chamber is delimited by part of membrane and separation wall. Reduction chamber is delimited by the other part of the membrane and the separating wall. Air intake is located on one side of membrane. CO2 depleted air outlet is located on the other side of the membrane in the sorption chamber. Device is made with possibility of air flow from inlet to outlet through membrane. Sorption chambers and reduction chambers are positioned alternately around membrane trajectory. Also disclosed is a device for capturing CO2 from air, which contains a belt containing a membrane in the form of a separate layer.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides a more energy-efficient method of extracting CO2 from air.
