FIELD: railway automation; telemechanics; communication.
SUBSTANCE: method of controlling a rail vehicle consists in the fact that code signals are received, information messages on the number of free and serviceable block sections and/or track circuits in front of the rail vehicle and on identification numbers of the block section and/or track circuit determine the current location of the rail vehicle head. When the train moves on sections with track circuits ALS-EN and receiving from track circuits of code signal G of only ALSN system, calculation of braking path is carried out taking into account the number of free serial track circuits encoded by code signal G of ALSN system, their coordinates and length located in front of track circuit occupied by ahead train. Data on the current coordinate, speed, length and integrity of the train of the ahead train are used, which are received via a radio channel from its on-board device at periodic requests. Also disclosed is a system for controlling a rail vehicle, which includes a unit for increasing the maximum speed of the train under the code signal G of the ALSN system.
EFFECT: increasing maximum carrying capacity for sections with track circuits ALS-EN.
