METHOD FOR PREDICTING THE OCCURRENCE OF ACUTE KIDNEY INJURY IN COVID-19-ASSOCIATED PNEUMONIA BASED ON THE LEVEL OF s-CysC Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC G01N33/68 G01N33/493 G01N33/53

Abstract RU 2788298 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to therapy and anesthesiology-resuscitation, and can be used to predict the occurrence of acute kidney injury (AKI) in pneumonia associated with COVID-19, by the level of s-CysC. Determine the concentration of s-CysC in samples of venous blood of patients by immunoturbidimetric method. If the concentration of s-CysC in patients from more than 1.67 up to 1.69 mg / l inclusive, then the occurrence of AKI is predicted after 2 days. If the concentration of s-CysC in patients exceeds 1.69 mg/l, then AKI is predicted 1 day after taking a venous blood sample for analysis.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to predict the occurrence of AKI in pneumonia associated with COVID-19 by determining the level of CysC in the blood, a reliable diagnostic and prognostic biomarker of AKI in pneumonia associated with COVID-19.
