Abstract RU 2830610 C2

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of preparing a composition containing one or more compounds of formula I (I), where R1, R2 and R3 are each independently H or -NO, where n is 0 or 1; where when n is 0, R1 is H; and also where, when n is 1, R2 is H provided that at least one of R1, R2 and R3 is -NO. This method involves a step of reacting a corresponding compound of formula I, where R1, R2 and R3 are H with a nitrite source, optionally in the presence of a suitable acid. When the nitrite source is organic nitrite, step (i) is carried out in a suitable organic solvent; and when the nitrite source is inorganic nitrite, step (i) is carried out in a two-phase mixture of solvents containing an aqueous phase and a non-aqueous phase. Method further includes a step of adding an additional amount of the compound of Formula I, where R1, R2 and R3 are H, and compositions of one or more compounds of Formula I and a compound of Formula I, where R1, R2 and R3 are H, contains from 0.01% to 9 wt.% of one or more compounds of Formula I. Invention also relates to a composition for treating a pathological condition in which the introduction of NO is characterized by a positive effect, to a pharmaceutical composition, a combination product, a pharmaceutical formulation and a set of elements containing said composition, to a method of producing a combined product, to applications of the disclosed products, as well as to a method of treating a pathological condition in which the introduction of NO is characterized by a positive effect.

EFFECT: development of a method providing a relatively high concentration of compounds in a solution, minimizing the risk of sudden and spontaneous decomposition and reducing the likelihood of side effects when the product obtained by implementing said method is used for treatment.
