FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in maintenance of automotive radiators. Method of cleaning contaminants from inner surfaces of honeycomb cores of vehicle radiators consists in supply of cleaning composition under pressure through radiator grill in the form of liquid into the inner volume of the honeycombs of two radiator of the air conditioner and the radiator of the vehicle cooling system arranged one after the other. At interaction with inner surfaces of cores of radiator of air conditioner and radiator of vehicle cooling system the liquid is converted into fast expanding dense foam. Formed foam is held for 2−5 minutes to soften the contaminants and their extrusion from the inner volume of the air conditioner radiator cores and the vehicle cooling system radiator. Then foam is removed together with impurities by means of water jet supplied under pressure.
EFFECT: simultaneous cleaning of two radiators arranged one after another: air conditioner and engine cooling system.
