FIELD: engine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to maintenance of internal combustion engines. Method of cleaning the combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine envisages supply of cleaning liquid in the form of foam into each of cylinders of the idle cooled engine. Fluid is held for 30 minutes, after which suction fluid is extracted from each cylinder. Cleaning liquid used is an aqueous solution of low-molecular and high-molecular amines, anionic surfactants and esters, with the following ratio of ingredients in the claimed liquid: low-molecular amines of general formula: R1-N-(R2)(R3), where R1=H, CH3, C2H5O, C3H6O, C2H5; R2=H; CH3; C2H5O, R3=H; CH3; C2H5O – is 2–10 %; high-molecular amines of general formula: R1N(R2)(R3), where R1 is a hydrocarbon residue of a mixture of limiting and unsaturated fatty acids containing from 12 to 24 carbon atoms, R2=H; CH3, R3=H; CH3 – makes 5–20 %; anionic surfactants of general formula: RX, where R is a hydrocarbon residue of a mixture of limiting and unsaturated fatty acids containing 10 to 24 carbon atoms; X=-COOY; -OSO3Y; -OCH2COOY; -O(CH2CH2)n-OSO3Y, -OPO3Y2, -C6H4SO3Y, -OC(O)CH2CH(SO3Y)COOY, where Y=H, Na, K, NH4+ – makes 5–20 %; esters of general formula R1-O-R2, where R1 is a hydrocarbon radical – CnH2n+1 at n=1-14, a R2=H; CH3; C2H5O; C3H6O; – makes 15–30 %; deionised water is up to 100 % (rest).

EFFECT: technical result consists in effective cleaning of cylinder-piston group, with elimination of effect on paint layer of oil pan.
