FIELD: performing operations.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for ion exchange processes. Disclosed is an ion-exchange apparatus with a spotting bed of ionite, comprising a housing, unions for inlet of initial water and outlet. Housing of the apparatus has a cylindrical shape, inside which a vertical partition is installed, the bottom of the apparatus is of an elliptical shape and is equipped with a nozzle for inlet of the regeneration solution and flushing water into the apparatus. In the upper part of the apparatus there is a nozzle for input of initial water into the apparatus, an inclined drainage device and a flanged inclined flat cover with a nozzle for discharge of purified water, regeneration solution and flushing water from the apparatus.
EFFECT: carrying out the process of ion-exchange water treatment in a spotting bed of ionite with density lower than density of the treated water.
