FIELD: ion exchange processes.
SUBSTANCE: distinctive feature of the ion exchange installation is that it includes a container located above the ion exchange filter, between which there is a shut-off device such as a ball valve with a spherical locking element having a through hole consisting of a cylindrical part and a conical part with a cone angle of 45°. In the centre of the ion exchange filter there is an airlift for moving inert material using compressed air from the bottom of the filter through a locking device into a container in the upper part of which a bumper is installed. In the centre of the tank there is a vertical pipe installed with the possibility of supplying inert material using an airlift from the ion exchange filter through a locking device into the space between the tank body and the pipe, as well as the possibility of moving inert material with water by gravity from the tank through the locking device into the lower part of the ion exchange filter along airlift in the absence of compressed air supply.
EFFECT: possibility of washing the ion exchanger from mechanical impurities at the stage of loosening the ion exchanger.
