FIELD: mining; ventilation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining industry and can be used in underground development of mineral deposits. Method of artificial ventilation of underground mine workings includes arrangement of air exchange of mine workings with ambient medium by operation of suction fan installation and the creation of an aerodynamic curtain in the mouth of the air exhaust shaft, the operation of the fan unit is accompanied by air supercharging into the active suction zone of the ventilation opening.
EFFECT: reduction of surface air leaks during artificial ventilation of underground mines.
