FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to orthopedic dentistry. Checking bite recorder is made by applying occlusal registration points on the frame of the orthopedic structure using a fluid light-cured composite, quick-hardening plastic or ash-free self-curing plastic on working models plastered in an articulator. If the prosthetic structure includes no more than 4 dental units, two occlusal points are applied, from 5 to 8 dental units—three occlusal points, and from 8 dental units—at least four occlusal points. Bite recorder is configured to control bite height when fitting orthopedic structures in the oral cavity during their fitting and occlusion correction for the subsequent stage of ceramics application.
EFFECT: possibility of additional check of correctness of occlusion on working models and in oral cavity before application of final ceramic layer to create a comfortable chewing efficiency and integrity of the dentition at the final stage of making permanent structures.
