FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a polypeptide involved in the production of a branched-chain amino acid, containing deletion of amino acids corresponding to positions 431–433 based on amino acid sequence presented by SEQ ID NO: 5, where the branched chain amino acid is L-valine or L-isoleucine. Also disclosed is a microorganism of the genus Corynebacterium for producing said branched-chain amino acids, in which activity of ATP (adenosine triphosphate)-dependent protease is weakened in comparison with unmodified microorganism, wherein said microorganism contains said polypeptide or polynucleotide having a deletion of nucleotides corresponding to positions 1,291–1,299 based on the sequence presented by SEQ ID NO: 6. Also disclosed is a method of producing said branched-chain amino acids using said microorganism, as well as the use of a microorganism or polypeptide for producing said branched-chain amino acids.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain L-valine or L-isoleucine with high output.
