FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: method relates to machine building. Rings of disassembled bearings and cassettes for transportation and storage of roller sets are marked with barcodes. Machine grinding of rings and rollers is performed to constant depth. After grinding, eddy current control is performed simultaneously to detect defects and to assess residual inhomogeneity of rings and rollers with storage of results on a server. Repeated grinding and repeated inspection of parts that do not meet the requirements for geometrical accuracy and residual inhomogeneity are performed. Parts that do not comply with requirements to dimensions and heterogeneity of surface layer are isolated physically and in information system. Rings and cassettes with sets of rollers are placed in numbered cells of automated warehouse for further selective assembly.

EFFECT: restoration of serviceability of repaired bearings not only by replacement of parts worn out earlier than others, but also by removal of essential part of stress-strain layer from working surfaces of parts.
