SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an aerosol-producing article with wrapping paper. Aerosol-generating article includes wrapping paper and aerosol-generating material. Wrapping paper contains cellulose fibres and one or more polyphosphates. Cellulose fibres make up (70–95)% of the weight of the wrapping paper. Polyphosphates are jointly contained in concentration of (5–30)% relative to the weight of the wrapping paper. Polyphosphates are compounds with total formula M_n+2P_nO_3n+1 or M_n[H₂P_nO_3n+1], where n is 2–100, and M is a monovalent metal or ammonium.

EFFECT: improved fire resistance of wrapping paper is provided.
