FIELD: smoking accessories.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an aerosol-producing article. Aerosol-generating article includes wrapping paper covering the aerosol-generating material. Wrapping paper contains cellulose fibres and coal-forming agent. Cellulose fibres make up 70–95% of the weight of the wrapping paper. Carbon-forming agent is contained in concentration of 5–20% relative to the weight of the wrapping paper and is present in the wrapping paper in such a concentration that the ratio r=R_T/R₀ tensile strength R₀ and tensile strength R_T, after the wrapping paper is held at temperature of 230 °C is 0.20–0.90. Coal-forming agent is ammonium phosphate or is at least partially formed from guanylurea phosphate, guanidine phosphate, phosphoric acid, phosphonate, melamine phosphate, dicyandiamide, boric acid or borax.

EFFECT: higher heat resistance of wrapping paper with sufficient mechanical strength, suitability for processing and biological degradability.
