SUBSTANCE: method of recovering a beam of a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) is performed by a terminal device and comprises: detecting that a first transmission and receiving point (TRP) is in a beam failure state, determining a recovery beam for the PUCCH. Determination of the recovery beam for the PUCCH includes: determining that the recovery beam for the PUCCH is a beam corresponding to a physical random access channel (PRACH), or transmitting first indication information, which contains a first beam identifier, and determining that the recovery beam for the PUCCH is the first beam corresponding to the first beam identifier.
EFFECT: possibility of minimizing the effect of a beam failure condition on data transmission, thereby improving the quality and efficiency of data transmission.
