FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of bimetallic stainless steels using WAAM technology, particularly high-quality steels containing chromium and chromium-nickel. Workpiece is produced by additive electric arc surfacing and contains alternating layers of two stainless steels of different chemical composition and a layer of stainless steel modified with titanium nitride particles having size from 60 to 100 nm in amount of 0.2 to 0.3 wt.%.
EFFECT: specified workpieces have high mechanical properties.
