FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to biocompatible injected bone cement. Biocompatible injected bone cement based on calcium-magnesium phosphate phases with addition of carboxymethyl cellulose for filling bone defects is characterized by that the cement powder contains phases: stanfieldite Mg3Ca3(PO4)4 in amount of 0-90 wt.%, whitlockite Ca9Mg(HPO4)(PO4)6 in amount of up to 10 wt.% and magnesium oxide MgO in amount of 5-15 wt.%, and the fact that the cement liquid based on aqueous 3.5 M solution of Na2HPO4 and/or NaH2PO4 salts contains an additive polymer of carboxymethyl cellulose in concentration of 0.2-2.0 wt.%, characterized by pH level of 3.3-3.8, ratio of initial components when mixing CP:CL is 1.5-2.
EFFECT: above described bone cement has setting time of 11-18 minutes, neutral pH of 6.8-7.3, strength of at least 10 MPa, contains the main cement phases – stanfieldite (Mg3Ca3(PO4)4) and newberiit MgHPO4(H2O)3, and also has injectability of at least 60%.
