FIELD: electric heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices, systems and methods of heating by means of electromagnetic waves, including microwaves. Device comprises a tube, a current-collecting material located in the tube, and an applicator. First end of the tube is fixed or spring-loaded to the applicator, and part of the current-collecting material in the tube is located in the applicator. Current-receiving material is located in the inner reservoir of the tube. Device further comprises one or more retainers arranged in a position that prevents leakage of current-collecting material from the inner reservoir of the tube, controlling the location of the current-collecting material in the inner tank of the tube, preventing contact of the current-receiving material with the fluid medium in the inner tank of the tube or a combination thereof.
EFFECT: invention provides heating of fluid medium with the help of current-collecting particles receiving electromagnetic energy by means of a device which is able to withstand forces acting on the device when heating the fluid medium.
