FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to maxillofacial surgery, and can be used in surgical treatment of lipomas of a cheek fat body. It is proposed to apply a marking along the front edge of the hair growth line in the temporal region, to dissect the skin, to mobilize it 2 cm in front of the anterior edge of the masseter muscle, dissecting the superficial musculo-aponeurotic system of the face along the anterior edge of the masseter up to the base of the lower jaw, visualizing and neurolysis of the buccal and zygomatic branches of the facial nerve, after dissection of the facial fascia and masticatory fascia, layering the masseter muscle in the projection of the lipoma of the cheek fat body, isolating the lipoma of the cheek fat body from under the lower edge of the zygomatic bone above the buccal muscle, closure of superficial muscular-aponeurotic system of face, drainage and wound closure in layers.
EFFECT: method, when used, enables to create an incision in the hairline in the temporal region, which in the remote postoperative period solves the problem of aesthetics and functional state of soft tissues of the face and facial muscles.
