FIELD: pharmaceutical analysis.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed are methods for quantitative determination of drugs in substances in which weighed portions of amiodarone, sodium nedocromil, disodium cromoglycate, to an aliquot of the substance, at least a three-fold excess in relation to the determined component of a solution of p-anisidine in mixture of 96 vol.% of ethanol and concentrated hydrochloric acid is added, in volume ratio of ethanol and concentrated hydrochloric acid 17:3, respectively, reaction mixture is held for 5–6 minutes until a yellow colour is formed, then held for another 3 minutes, the solutions are photocolourimetered at wavelength of 364 nm relative to a comparison solution – 0.1 M hydrochloric acid solution, determination of substance content in a substance is carried out according to a pre-built calibration curve.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides a sensitive method of quantitative determination with relative error of not more than 0_48% without using toxic reagents.
