SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a nicotine sachet composition, to an oral nicotine sachet product containing a nicotine sachet composition, as well as to a method for preparing such a sachet. Nicotine sachet composition for relieving nicotine cravings contains a mixture of nicotine in the form of a free base with a sugar alcohol, said sachet composition containing water of at least 15% by weight of said sachet composition, where nicotine in the form of a free base contains nicotine in the form of a free base, mixed with an ion-exchange resin in a weight ratio between nicotine in the form of a free base and ion-exchange resin from 0.1 to 2.0, where the nicotine sachet composition contains sugar alcohol in amount of 1–80% by weight of the sachet composition. Oral product in the form of a nicotine sachet for relieving cravings for nicotine contains a sachet and a certain amount of a nicotine sachet composition enclosed in said sachet. Method of producing an oral product in the form of a nicotine sachet involves the following steps: providing a nicotine sachet composition, providing the sachet, adding the sachet composition to said sachet and sealing the sachet.

EFFECT: use of the group of inventions provides the presence of stable nicotine in the form of a free base in the presence of a high water content in an amount of at least 15% by weight, facilitating the craving for smoking even after storage, fast release of nicotine and effective absorption, as well as providing a sustained release of nicotine in comparison with nicotine in the form of a free base, mixed with sugar alcohols, in addition, in comparison with a nicotine-ion-exchange resin complex, relatively fast release is achieved.
