FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to gynaecology and dermatovenerology, and can be used to predict the risk of recurrent female reproductive tract infection caused by Chlamydia trachomatis. Total number of lactobacilli is determined in the cervico-vaginal fluid; a portion of Lactobacillus iners is determined among the lactobacilli, and the acidity of the medium of the cervic-vaginal fluid is measured. Analysed parameters are assessed using prognostic coefficients (PC). Prognostic coefficients are summed up. If the sum of the prognostic coefficients is positive, the risk of recurrent infection of the female reproductive tract caused by Chlamydia trachomatis is predicted; if negative, no risk is predicted.
EFFECT: invention enables reliable prediction of the risk of recurrent infection of the female reproductive tract caused by Chlamydia trachomatis.
