FIELD: photochemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to photocatalyst technology and can be used in chemical industry. Method of producing photocatalyst based on polyoxometallate {Mo132} and organic anionic dye includes several steps. Grafting of organosilicon linker, when performing which polyoxometallate {Mo132} is mixed with methanol in an argon atmosphere and a stock solution is prepared by mixing 3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane (APTMS) with methanol. Then stock solution is mixed with methanol solution of polyoxometallate {Mo132} and obtained solution is held. Toluene is added to the mixture and the formed precipitate is separated, which is again mixed with toluene and the precipitate is separated from the toluene phase to obtain a {Mo132}@Si6 conjugate. Method then includes synthesis of tetrabutylammonium salt of conjugate {Mo132}@Si6 by mixing conjugate {Mo132}@Si6, distilled water, chloroform, tetrabutylammonium bromide. After separation of phases and removal of chloroform, the obtained powder is mixed with hexane, the precipitate is separated and dried. Method comprises synthesis of an organic anionic dye in the form of an ester of N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS-ester) of an eosin-Y dye and the photocatalyst is synthesized by mixing the {Mo132}@Si6@TBA30 conjugate with the obtained NHS-ester of an organic anionic dye.

EFFECT: obtaining a novel target photocatalyst and providing a method for production thereof.
