SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microbiology, genetic engineering, biotechnology, molecular biology. Group of inventions discloses a recombinant Pichia pastoris strain in which a synthetic gene with codons adapted for P. pastoris, which codes human alpha-fetoprotein (AFP), is inserted. What is also described is a method for preparing the AFP and a pharmaceutical composition which can be used in anticancer therapy.
EFFECT: output of AFP is up to 300 mg/l, AFP purity is 95%.
