FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery and herniology. A percutaneous puncture of the preperitoneal space is performed within the hernial protrusion. 0.25% novocaine is introduced into said space, thereby hydraulically exfoliating the peritoneum under video laparoscopic navigation along the perimeter of the abdominal wall defect. A trocar is inserted through the skin incision above the hernial protrusion. A mechanical detachment of a peritoneum together with a hernial sac is performed through a trocar sleeve under video laparoscopic navigation on an area equal to a composite mesh. A composite mesh with a positioning system is placed along the trocar sleeve into the preperitoneal space. VENTRALIGHT™ST composite mesh is placed with ECHOPS™ positioning system in the preperitoneal space within the abdominal wall defect by inflating the positioning system. Autologous platelet-rich plasma PRP is applied along the perimeter of the abdominal wall defect and on the composite mesh.
EFFECT: method allows performing hernioplasty of umbilical hernias with good cosmetic effect, considerably reducing the risk of postoperative complications.
