FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to abdominal surgery, and can be used to visualize liver tumours during resections. Patient is placed on the operating table in the Fowler position at inclination of 45° relative to the horizontal plane. Thereafter, the operating table is placed in the “antitrendelenburg” position. A trocar, laparoscopic instrumentation is introduced, and a crescent ligament of liver is dissected. At distance of 3 cm from the edge of the liver, an incision is made on the skin and underlying tissues within a projection of the white line of the abdomen. Trocar is inserted and a wound canal is formed, after which the trocar is removed from the wound canal. Microconvex vaginal-rectal probe SonoScape 6V1 with central frequency 6.0 MHz and viewing angle 135°, pre-packaged in a sterile, waterproof, disposable cover, is inserted.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to perform in-depth intraoperative ultrasonic diagnostics of liver for liver tumours not diagnosed at preoperative stage, perform ultrasonic navigation of the liver resection line and planes relative to tumour foci by introducing into the wound canal SonoScape 6V1 ultrasound probe with a central frequency of 6 MHz and a viewing angle of 135°.
