FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopaedics, and can be used for repair of massive injuries of shoulder rotator cuff. Joint is approached under control of an arthroscope. Massive damage of the shoulder rotator cuff is restored by implanting the first row of two anchor knotless retainers on the border of the cartilaginous zone of the humeral head and the second row of two anchor knotless retainers on the posterior edge of the greater tubercle of the humerus. Augmentation is carried out with a polyethylene terephthalate mesh, which is fixed on the surface of the repaired tendon tissue of the rotator cuff with sutures of anchor fixators of the first and second row.
EFFECT: method provides higher clinical effectiveness in the patients with massive injuries of shoulder rotator tendons ensured by subacromial decompression of the shoulder joint and restoration of integrity of rotator cuff rupture by means of synthetic mesh augmentation.
