FIELD: vehicles in general.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a pedestrian warning system on the danger of an approaching vehicle. System comprises: detector, computing device, source of coherent radiation of visible range, actuating device. Detector is installed in the front part of the vehicle. Detector scans the sector in the direction of the vehicle path. Computing device receives the signal from the detector, processes and sends the signal to the actuating devices. Coherent radiation source generates a bright light spot which warns a pedestrian about the danger of an approaching vehicle. Actuating device, implemented in the form of a servo drive, directs the coherent radiation source towards the pedestrian. Detector is connected to the computing device by means of a wire link.
EFFECT: higher safety of pedestrians.
