FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tissue engineering, namely to a method for producing cartilage tissue from exosomes recovered from septal cartilage stem cells. Cartilage cells are cultured in Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium containing 10% exosome-depleted fetal bovine serum, and 1% PSA in cell culture incubators. Solution containing a two-phase PEG-dextran system is used for extraction of exosomes. Medium is centrifuged to remove waste cells and possible cell components. Exosomes are collected. Exosomes are introduced into the stem cells together with the cartilage differentiation solution every second day for 10 days. Cartilage tissue is obtained.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain cartilage which can be used for treating cartilage defects, such as osteoarthritis or arthrosis, since it causes cartilage formation, and also inhibits the inflammatory response.
