FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine, namely to tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, traumatology and orthopaedics, and discloses a method for obtaining a graft in the form of cell spheroids and a graft for reconstructing a cartilage of a subject obtained by said method. Method involves isolating cells from the perichondrium of the subject costal cartilage, culturing the recovered cells, transferring the cells into agarose plates in amount of 20,000 cells per 1 well of the agarose plate and subsequent cultivation thereof to form cell spheroids.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a transplant in the form of cell spheroids from the perichondrium of a subject rib having a marked regeneration potential, for effective cartilage regeneration, particularly articular cartilage.
