FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to dentistry. In the method of treating a patient with distal occlusion using aligners with blocks for fixing the jaws in opening and preventing transversal and proximal movement of the lower jaw, at the first stage, a patient's treatment plan is formed in a personal office, then the patient’s face and intraoral photographs are loaded, after which the scans in the bite are attached, or the impressions with the bite pattern in the bite are sent to the laboratory. At the second stage, after obtaining the data obtained at the first stage, a set-up model with the teeth movements planned by the doctor at the first stage is developed. At the third stage, on 3D model of the upper and lower jaws obtained at the second stage from the set-up model in the CAD program, the blocks are installed for fixing the jaws in opening and preventing the proximal movement of the lower jaw on the occlusal surface in the region of the masticatory teeth, wherein the upper jaw unit is placed in area from 17 to 15 teeth and from 27 to 25 teeth, and the lower jaw unit is placed in area from 34 to 36 teeth and 44 to 46 teeth, then in the CAD program, the blocks are adapted for fixing the jaws in opening and preventing the proximal movement of the lower jaw along the occlusal contacts to ensure the fixation of the jaws in the opening and fixation in the transversal plane with the possibility of preventing the proximal movement of the lower jaw, wherein for every third step of the aligner, starting from the first step of the aligner, the blocks are shifted to the medial side by 0.5 mm. At the fourth stage, 3D model of the upper and lower jaws with installed blocks for fixing the jaws in opening and preventing proximal movement of the lower jaw, obtained at the third stage, is sent for 3D printing using stereolithography. At the fifth stage, 3D model of the upper and lower jaws, printed at the fourth stage, with the installed blocks for fixing the jaws in opening and preventing the proximal movement of the lower jaw are squeezed by medical biopolymer plates by thermoforming to obtain aligners with blocks for fixation of jaws in opening and prevention of proximal movement of lower jaw, then the obtained aligners are polished, sterilized, packed and sent to a doctor. At the sixth stage, the aligners obtained at the fifth stage with blocks for fixation of jaws in opening and fixation in a transversal plane with the possibility of preventing movement of the lower jaw backwards are fixed in the oral cavity of patient for 14 days each step, then every 56 days, the patient is examined, and if after fixation of the aligners of the new step, there is no discomfort and pain sensations in the patient, the displacement of each third step of the aligners is continued by 0.5 mm until the planned movement of the lower jaw is achieved at the third stage. If after fixation of aligners of the new step, discomfort and pain sensations are detected in the patient, wearing of the previous step of aligners is prolonged by 14 days, and at the next steps of the aligner, each second step is shifted, starting from the first step, of the blocks to the medial side by 0.25 mm until the movement of the lower jaw, that was planned at the third stage, is achieved.

EFFECT: method allows fixing the lower jaw in height and stabilizing lateral movements in the transversal plane while keeping the lower jaw in the sagittal plane.
