FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, namely to dentistry, and can be used for 3D planning of complex gnathological and orthodontic treatment and its subsequent implementation using digital 3D technologies. Disclosed is a method implemented by a system of complex gnathological and orthodontic treatment, which includes the formation of initial computer 3D model of the dentoalveolar system, digital planning of treatment stages by processing initial computer 3D model, including positioning of the lower jaw, stepwise alignment of the teeth, designing the onlays on the occlusal surfaces of the teeth at each step of the teeth movement to obtain a relief of the occlusal surface of the onlays, which provides multiple contacts when the antagonists are closed in a given position of the lower jaw in the final position of the teeth; based on the created plan for each step of teeth alignment, trays are made, which provide for movement of teeth to the desired final position.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides control of a given position of the central ratio of jaws throughout the orthodontic treatment, high probability of achieving the planned position of the teeth due to additional functional forces occurring on the occlusal onlays when the dentures are closed.
