FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, namely to a body assembly for a drug delivery device and an injection device. Body assembly for a drug delivery device comprises a first body portion and a second body portion. First body portion comprises a first proximal end comprising a first engagement portion and a second engagement portion, a first distal end, and a first side wall between them defining a first longitudinal axis and defining a first inner space. First side wall comprises one or more through windows. Second body portion comprises a second proximal end, a second distal end comprising an open third engagement portion and a fourth engagement portion, and a second side wall between them defining a second longitudinal axis and defining a second inner space. First engagement section comprises a first rib and a second rib spaced from the first rib. Second rib extends parallel to the first rib along the first longitudinal axis. First rib and second rib comprise an insertable contact surface that extends radially outward from a proximal end to a distal end of the rib along a first longitudinal axis, and a retractable contact surface longitudinally spaced from the plug-in contact surface and located at an angle relative to it. Retractable contact surface forms lock together with open third section of engagement and, thus, connects first body part and second body part so that first longitudinal axis and second longitudinal axis coincide. When the first body part and the second body part are connected, the second engagement section rests against the fourth engagement section so that the first body part cannot turn relative to the second body part. Injection device comprises the above body assembly, a syringe and a driving mechanism. Syringe comprises a reservoir and a needle in fluid communication with the reservoir. Syringe is contained within the first inner space and/or the second inner space. Driving mechanism is accommodated inside the second inner space and is configured, when actuated, to displace the drug from the reservoir through the needle.
EFFECT: use of the group of inventions provides high resistance to disassembly of the device into parts.
