SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology and food industry. Disclosed is a synthetic food product which contains or essentially consists of a biomass of cells from poultry cells grown in vitro in a serum-free culture medium with a certain chemical composition under controlled conditions.
EFFECT: food product according to the present invention provides a new approach to production of meat and/or meat-like products and does not contain any dangerous contaminants.
