FIELD: lifting devices.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building. Elevator for people with limited mobility comprises a main line, a lifting platform and a speed limiter. Main line is made in the form of parallel pipes in one plane. Lifting platform comprises carcass with first vertical part and second part articulated therewith. Plate is mounted on the second part of the frame, and a carriage and a casing are mounted on the first part. Carriage is mounted under the casing. Rollers are mounted in upper and lower parts of the carriage. Pair of rollers in the upper part of the carriage squeezes the first pipe of the main line and is in mechanical connection with an electric motor mounted in the upper part of the carriage. In the lower part of the carriage there is a device for limiting speed in the form of a roller, on the end of which there is an eccentric and a catcher with a cam. Speed limiter is configured to block movement of the platform. Roller in the lower part of the carriage and the speed limiting device squeeze the second pipe of the main line. Roller is made with possibility to rebound from cam at increase of speed up to 0.3 m/s.

EFFECT: reduced probability of injury for people with limited mobility during uncontrolled downward movement of the lifting platform.
