FIELD: animal husbandry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to toilets for animals, in particular for marine mammals kept in a pool, which can perform defecation and urination while in water, for example, cetaceans, dugongs, manatees, as well as seals, walruses and sea otters. Toilet for marine mammals comprises container (1), analyser (3), pump (4), inlet (9) and outlet (10) doors, controlled valve (5), food reward dispensing device (11). At the same time the container is made with possibility of placement partially below the water level in the pool. Entrance door is designed to open automatically, and the exit door is made with the possibility of opening when receiving a signal from the analyser. Food reward dispensing device is configured to issue a food reward by an analyser signal. Controlled valve is configured to direct the water flow passing through it either back to the pool or to the sewage system.

EFFECT: creation of a device providing for removal of faeces and urine directly at the moment of their excretion by animals, preventing their ingress into the pool water.
