FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to oncology and surgery, and can be used for removal of benign new growths of vascular genesis of external localization. Tissue is sequentially dissected to remove the new growth along the line of the visible boundary between the vascular new growth and visually unchanged tissues by focused continuous laser radiation of a carbon dioxide laser with wavelength of 1064 nm, radiation power of 5 to 10 W, power density of 32 kW/cm2. In the process of excision of the new growth, the bleeding vessels and surrounding tissues are exposed to a point effect with a defocused radiation of a semiconductor laser in a pulsed mode with wavelength of 970 nm, radiation power from 5 to 10 W, power density of 14 kW/cm2, duration of radiation pulses from 10 to 100 ms and interval between pulses of 200 ms. The distance from the end of the light guide to the surface of the tissues does not exceed 1 mm.
EFFECT: method enables to obtain high-quality visualization of the wound surface, preserve the tissues adjacent to the wound and prevent ischemia due to the combined, sequential application of focused continuous laser radiation of carbon dioxide laser in contact mode and defocused pulse radiation of semiconductor laser in non-contact mode.
