FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to urology and oncology. For non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer localized on the anterior wall, Nd:YAG laser monoablation is performed with wavelength of 1064 nm, radiation power 40-55 W, radiation energy density on tissue surface 64-195 J/cm2, exposure time of 30-60 s. Exposure is performed by contacting the light guide with the bladder tumour and surrounding tissues at 5-7 mm from the tumour edge to observe the visually fixed coagulation signs within the exposure. Method allows to improve results of treatment of non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer of hard-to-reach localization due to prevention of hematuria and development of possible complications, such as perforation of bladder wall caused by resection of anterior wall of bladder.
EFFECT: improving the oncological results is ensured by eliminating the tumour cell migration along the bladder wall vessels by coagulating the bladder wall with the tumour.
