FIELD: performing operations.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, primarily, to heat treatment of welded joints from titanium alloy “ВТ20”, and can be used in production of critical structures. Method of heat treatment of welded joints of titanium alloy “ВТ20” includes heating, holding and cooling, at that, heating to temperature of 980 °C is performed, holding for 120-150 s and cooling in water.
EFFECT: increased ultimate strength and reduced microhardness in section of welded joints.
