SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to oncology and dermatology, and can be used for differential diagnosis of basal cell carcinoma of skin (BCC). Dermatoscopy is performed in co-polarized and cross-polarized modes, visible outlines of tumour are marked. Skin diffuse reflection spectroscopy is performed in 10 areas, melanin pigmentation indices, erythema and hemoglobin content are calculated, the obtained indices are normalized to the average coefficient calculated for healthy skin. Image of the tumour is obtained by optical coherence tomography; the contours of the changed tissues are marked, and the borders in the transverse direction of the tumour are specified. Image of the tumour is obtained by high-frequency ultrasonic examination; the contours of the changed tissues are marked, which are used to determine the depth of tumour invasion, borders in the transverse direction of the tumour. Obtained data are used to diagnose the superficial form of the BCC, the nodular form of the BCC, the infiltrative and infiltrative-ulcerous form of the BCC by machine learning.

EFFECT: method enables the most accurate diagnosis of the form of basal cell skin cancer and selecting the optimal therapeutic approach by a combination of diagnostic techniques and a classifier based on a machine learning method.
